Download  from Sencha!

200+ Enhancements and Fixes

In addition to the new components above, we have addressed well over 200 feature requests and bug reports since Ext JS 3.2. While a full list is included in the Ext JS 3.3 changelog, the highlights include:
  • Forms: findField now searches inside radio and check groups
  • Forms: trackLabels now defaults to true on FormLayout
  • Component: Moved bubble from Container to Component
  • Grids: Fixed a bug where the ‘selectionchange’ event would sometimes fire when sorting
  • Stores: Multiple records inserted into a Store now respect the order specified
  • DnD: no longer automatically enables tooltips on document click
  • Util: Added an AbstractManager class for managing sets of instances (e.g. stores, components, etc)

Air Updates

As part of the upgrade to Ext JS 3.3, we’ve upgraded the Air Pack to support all of the new components and features found in Ext JS 3.3. If you’re using Ext JS with Adobe Air, download the Air Pack now from the Downloads page to take advantage of the upgrades.

API Docs Refresh

Ext JS 3.3 sees a small refresh to the API documentation, including a few tweaks to the theme and convenient links to the online examples. We’ve also updated the documentation on many of the classes to give a better introduction to what the class does (see the PivotGrid docs as an example).

The Future

Ext JS 3.3 is the most comprehensive release we’ve ever made and we are proud of its features, community and stability. I’d like to thank everyone who uses it to create awesome new applications, and we hope you love this new release.
